About our Ilha Grande day tour
A true ecological paradise, Ilha Grande is 193 km2 of prime Atlantic rainforest surrounded by water. Its rugged and mountainous topography provides a privileged geographical setting and the island has 86 beautiful beaches, bays, rivers, lakes, waterfalls, plains, mountains and peaks.
Ilha Grande offers many options for activities including schooner trips, snorkelling, surfing lessons, ocean kayaking, trails and ecological hiking.
The majority of Ilha Grande is a state park. Our Ilha Grande day tour goes from Abraão (Ilha Grande main village) to Lopes Mendes (one of the most beautiful beaches in Brazil), it is around 6 km(one way). The trail goes up and down over the mountains through the rain forest jungle crossing other beaches with pretty spectacular views, remote locations, white sugary sand and calm waves. We suggest to take a boat to do the way back.
For those who don’t want to hike. It is possible to do both ways by boat, hiking only the last section, 20 minutes. Enjoying most of your Ilha Grande day tour on the beach.
How to book the Ilha Grande day trip
The Ilha Grande day trip depart daily, you can choose the date and book it to suit your schedule. We need at least 2 people, If you are one person alone, we can allocate you in another group.
Book online by clicking the “book now” button. Fill the small form with your information and you will be redirect to our payment page. It is mandatory to pay a reservation fee of R$ 150 per person, it must be paid through PayPal (all credit cards). The other part of the payment must be done cash direct to our guide in the tour day.
